Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Intellia. By creating a workspace or using the platform, you agree to them.
Last updated 21 September 2026
1. The service
Intellia (“Intellia”, “we”) is a platform operated by Synapta Technologies that lets an organization configure, ground and deploy AI chatbots on its website, and analyse the resulting conversations.
We provide the service on a subscription basis. Features available to you depend on your plan. We may add, change or withdraw features; where a change materially reduces what your plan provides, we will give you reasonable notice.
2. Accounts and organizations
Your workspace is an organization. The person who creates it is its Owner. Owners and Admins may invite other members and set their roles.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
3. Your content
Content you upload or connect — documents, website content, business profile, chatbot instructions — remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you: to store, process, index and transmit that content so your chatbots can use it.
You confirm you have the right to supply the content you connect, including any personal data it contains, and that doing so does not breach anyone else's rights.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Intellia to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- impersonate a person or organization, or present a chatbot as a human being where doing so would mislead someone to their detriment;
- send unsolicited bulk messaging;
- process sensitive personal data — health, financial or biometric records — without the lawful basis and safeguards that data requires;
- attempt to breach tenant isolation, probe our infrastructure without written authorization, or interfere with other customers' use of the service.
We may suspend a workspace that we reasonably believe is being used this way, and will tell you why.
5. AI output
Chatbots generate text, and extract data from conversations, using large language models. Grounding answers in your own knowledge substantially improves accuracy, but does not guarantee it. Output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
You are responsible for reviewing chatbot output and extracted data before relying on them for consequential decisions. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of chatbot output.
6. Third-party processing
Operating the service involves third parties, including model providers who process the prompts and retrieved passages needed to generate a response, and infrastructure and email providers. We describe these in the Privacy Policy.
7. Fees
Paid plans are billed in advance for the agreed period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give notice before a price change takes effect at your next renewal.
8. Termination
You may close your workspace at any time from Settings. We may terminate for material breach of these terms, or for non-payment that remains unresolved after notice.
On termination we stop processing and delete your content within a reasonable period. Export what you need before you close a workspace.
9. Liability
The service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the product or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have exclusive jurisdiction.
